Colourful villages, charming towns, and lakeside lanes filled with fragrant flowers, Lake Como is nestled against a heart-stopping landscape of lofty, pine-cloaked mountains.

A tranquil and elegant alternative to Lake Garda, of course, both lakes offer mouthwatering cuisine, an impressive selection of wines, stunning scenery and balmy weather, there’s something rather hypnotic about Lake Como. It’s easy to see why it’s earned its moniker of the ‘James Bond’ of the Italian lakes, in fact ‘Casino Royale’ was filmed here where Daniel Craig himself uttered those immortal words ‘Bond… James Bond’.

Situated in the Lombardy region in northern Italy, there’s a magnificent selection of villages and towns to visit.

Whether you are looking to explore the history at the duomo, sail across the water, or simply want to live La Dolce Vita like a local, then Lake Como is the perfect choice for an Italian holiday.

Lake Como is the third largest of the Italian lakes and is considered the most traditionally Italian among its counterparts.

Maybe it’s the captivating combination of the colourful towns and villages, its dreamy ambience and the majestic backdrop of the Alps that truly make Lake Como so special.

Whether it’s quaffing limoncello at a lakeside restaurant, hiking in the forested mountains, kayaking on the lake or exploring mediaeval castles, Lake Como is mesmerising no matter what you do.
