Climate in Capri
If you are considering the best time to visit Capri, there are two standout periods that might suit.
The first is late spring through to early summer before it gets a smidge too hot. If you prefer a slightly milder temperature, head over from the beginning of April through to mid-June.
Alternatively, you might want to venture over there in early autumn; from the beginning of September through to mid-October, where it’s less crowded and it’s warm enough to enjoy outdoor activities but you aren’t going to get too hot.
You’ll find that whilst the evenings are still balmy and the water is still warm, that’s it’s not too oppressive.

Most of Capri town is only accessible by foot, so make sure that you wear comfortable shoes. If you venture away from the traditional pristine beaches and bays, you might want to check out Capri’s wilder side where you will find secret coves, caves and rock formations that are just waiting for you to explore.
One of our favourite vistas is looking down from the renowned Gardens of Augustus which has the most jaw-dropping views of the entire Italian coast which includes the bay of Marina Piccola, and the Faraglioni Rocks.
