With huge numbers of endemic species, Fiji might not be the Galapagos, but it certainly doesn’t fall short.
Everything you expect from Fiji comes true, but the surprises keep coming. You’d expect the food to be a medley of locally grown tropical crops and sea food – and it is. But island chefs do wonders with Indo-Fiji fusion food. You’d expect a little island lore here and there, but the stories of days gone by are gruesome tales that go far beyond your imagination. And, as the soft coral capital of the world, you’ll expect your dives to be magical. But nothing prepares you for the vertical walls of coral and reefs that stretch for miles. Put simply. Fiji isn’t a place to visit with low expectations.
